Welcome to the Anglican Church
of St John’s West Toronto
St. John's Anglican Church is an energetic community of faith in West Toronto where you will find a variety of worship experiences and opportunities for learning and socializing.
Based on our baptismal vow that "we respect the dignity of every human being", we affirm diversity and embrace inclusiveness.
We have something to offer you and we know we can learn something from you. You're welcome here – let's journey together!
St John's performs same sex marriages.
UPDATE: Plans for a return to in-person worship
We have been working hard to meet all the protocols for safe worship inside our building. However, we have decided that our building will not be opening for worship on September 27 as we had previously announced. Zoom worship will continue for the time being.
We still ask you to please take the time to read our guide which details the information you will need:
to decide if in-person worship is right for you
to plan, before you come to Church in person
if you choose continued access to Remote Worship
if you choose to attend In-Person Worship.
Click here to read and download the guide.
We need your input to help us eventually return to in-person worship.
Please fill out this short survey.
We also encourage you to watch this video to learn more about our preparations and to see what worship will be like when do we return.

We celebrate our relationship with the first peoples of this land and with gratitude we acknowledge the territories on which this Church building and community, lives and moves and has its being. We give thanks for the peoples of the Wendat, the Anishinabeg, the Mississauga of the Credit, and the Haudenosaunee communities, and we recognize the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples on this land.
