Born Toronto, 29 June 1859, son of Robert and Isabella McKim, brother to the Revd C.W. McKim.

14 June 1882 merchant’s clerk, married Alice Maud, daughter of William and Jessie Taylor, in Hespler (Revd J.P. Hincks).
