Hello everyone! I’m excited to share an update on our journey together. Being part of this amazing church community has been a great experience for me so far. From the moment I stepped through those doors, I knew why St. John’s was so special. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, the vibrant colours adorning the walls, and the unique touches such as the communion circle and prayer requests all contributed to making this church stand out from others I have visited. I quickly realized that St. John's is more than just a church; it's a warm and welcoming community.
So, what have I been up to? As a member of the communications team, I have been working to improve how we connect with members of our community–both new and old. We are putting together a handy FAQs page where you can find all the important information about our church, upcoming events, and community. Additionally, we are showcasing our beautiful spaces on a Rental Page and creating a Music & Arts Page to turn up the music on the soulful tunes of our services and concerts and celebrate incredible artistic talent. It has been a wonderful experience getting to work on these projects and I’m excited for more to come.
But this update isn't just about me; I want to hear from all of you! What are your favourite memories or moments from being a part of this community?
